Paneer Khurchan

No Onion No Garlic Paneer Khurchan

Spicy Paneer Khurchan can be served with rice, roti, parathas. It does not take much time to cook Paneer khurchan. Combination of spices and texture of paneer makes it more tasty.

Paneer Khurchan No Onion No Garlic

  • 1 cup Chopped Paneer
  • 1/4 Cup Red Capsicum chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Green Capsicum chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Yellow Capsicum Chopped
  • 1 Cup Tomatoes Chopped
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala-
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt


  • Blend tomato with Green chilli to smooth puree.
    Add Oil to the pan(low Heat)
    Add Cumin Seeds, once cumin seeds splutter, add corainder powder, Red Chilli powder, ginger paste, turmeric powder and saute for 1 minute on low flame.
    Add tomato puree to the spice mix.
    Add garam masala and salt to tomato puree.
    Mix well on medium flame. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
    Add chopped capsicum and mix well.
    Add 1/4th cup of water to the gravy .
    Cover and cook for 2 minutes, so capsicum remains crunchy and not become mushy.
    Add 1 cup chopped paneer and mix well.
    Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
    Top with chopped corainder leaves.
    Serve with rice or roti.


While blending tomatoes you can also add ginger to the tomatoes along with green chilli. 
If you are serving paneer khurhcan wit roti then increase the quantiy of tomatoes and add little bit more water.
